Homebrew is not working correctly after OS X is upgraded
Maybe you have many experiences such as some error after OS x is upgraded. This issue became an annual event. Please see below. Maybe you faced same error message like 'invalid active developer path'.
$ brew update ==> Homebrew has enabled anonymous aggregate formulae and cask analytics. Read the analytics documentation (and how to opt-out) here: https://docs.brew.sh/Analytics xcrun: error: invalid active developer path (/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools), missing xcrun at: /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr/bin/xcrun Error: Failure while executing; `git config --local --replace-all homebrew.analyticsmessage true` exited with 1.
In this case, please install command line developer tools again.
$ xcode-select --install xcode-select: note: install requested for command line developer tools
After doing that, all are doing well.
$ brew upgrade ==> Upgrading 6 outdated packages: vim 8.1.0250 -> 8.1.0450, gdbm 1.17 -> 1.18, sqlite 3.24.0 -> 3.25.2, zsh 5.5.1 -> 5.6.2_1, ruby 2.5.1 -> 2.5.3, git 2.18.0 -> 2.19.1 ==> Upgrading sqlite ==> Downloading https://homebrew.bintray.com/bottles/sqlite-3.25.2.mojave.bottle.tar.gz
